Strange Coincidences

This wedding was familiarly strange because (1) the groom's name was also Travis and (2) the bride, Jocelyn, looked a lot like my brother's lovely wife from certain angles. There was also another Flynn in attendance, which isn't all that strange. (There should be a Flynn at every wedding ;-) Anyway, the reception was held at Lighthouse Point in New Haven. After a stormy early afternoon, the clouds dissipated in time for the reception. Even though there are some nice posed pictures, I decided to focus on the action at the reception. (Sorry Travis and Jocelyn; you'll have to wait a little longer to see the rest.) After the surprisingly messy cake cutting action-- Jocelyn, I expected an efficient sharing of the slice, not a facial massage, haha-- Travis surprised Jocelyn by singing a romantic tune. The guests seemed to enjoy it almost as much as Jocelyn (see pictures). A little later in the evening, a young lady's eyes widened when she caught the flowers in the sky.

Best of luck to you, Travis and Jocelyn!

GOT CAKE?

Awww! Wonderful shots, Travis! I love it down there... And I just adore the one of the bride looking up lovingly at her husband singing... so sweet. =) - Julia

I love the shot of the little girl that caught the bouquet. I guess it will be a long while before you get any referrals from that wedding, lol.
