Portrait of a Dancer

Every once in a while something non-wedding related comes up. Even though I thoroughly enjoy photographing weddings, it's a nice change of pace every once in a while to photograph another genre. Meet Maria. She is a competitive dancer who was looking for a professional portrait. Maria has a passion for upbeat hip-hop as well as other types. After some communication, we decided it would be best to try a studio-type setup as well as some outdoor portraits in the Yale area of New Haven.
