Antoinette and Chris

Chris and Antoinette's wedding is the third of the year at Amarante's, but this is the first one to have the reception in the Grand Ballroom. Here are a few pictures of the newlyweds, ring bearer + flower girl (couldn't resist!) and a nicely crafted cake decoration (love the hair on the miniature!). Congratulations, Antoinette and Chris! Best of luck!

Military Portraits

I had the opportunity to photograph a couple of U.S. military brothers. Years ago they were ten year-old junior boys and I was their counselor up at Mountain Lake Bible Camp in New Preston (yes, that's CT). Now they serve to protect my freedom. Corporal Brett Nihart USMC and Midshipman Jake Nihart of Norwich University (Northfield, VT). Interesting tidbit: it is the oldest private military academy in the United States. I've been searching for a picture of the three of us at camp-- I KNOW I have it around here somewhere. If I find it soon, I'll post it up.

Wedding at Villa Bianca

I had the honor of photographing Miriah and Michael's wedding this past weekend at Villa Bianca in Seymour. Even though I had the opportunity to capture about 50 group portraits of various sizes during the reception (what a good-looking couple of families!), this highlights some of the more candid images with pictures before the ceremony as well as a few of the newlyweds. Best of luck, Miriah and Michael!

I swear that I just showed Miriah and Michael how to hold the knife!

That's better. :-)

Glastonbury Hills Wedding

This was my second time this summer up at Glastonbury Hills C.C. Despite the impending tail end of the tropical storm, we were able to take some photographs of Heather and Alexi outside at different times. Heather and Alexi arranged for formals (and more) to be taken inside of Hartford City Hall Even though humidity was up around 120% in the building, it was a great opportunity. The newlyweds kicked off the dancing with a nicely orchestrated high-energy medley, which was a delight to photograph. It was a pleasure to work with Carl Kaufman for the first time. Congratulations, Heather and Alexi! Best of luck!
