Eileen and Robert

Eileen and Robert wouldn't let a little October snow discourage their wedding plans. By remaining optimistic, they were able to enjoy their ceremony at St. Theresa's in Trumbull and then head over to Great River Country Club in Milford for some portraits, inside and outside, before enjoying the reception and dancing the night away with each other. This once again proves how optimism can make all the difference for the bride and groom when something totally unexpected comes up on the wedding day.

Congratulations, Eileen and Robert! Best of luck!

Heather and Chris

Heather and Chris's ceremony was at St. Bernard's Church in Vernon, followed by pictures at the Hartford City Hall, and then the reception at the Farmington Club. I'm glad that we stopped by the City Hall for pictures, because as nice as the church and Farmington Club are, there is something special about the City Hall.

Chris and Heather were a joy to photograph. They made my job easy!

Congratulations, Chris and Heather! Best of luck!

Leah, Jon, and Nathan Family II

The day after Connecticut's snow-in-October was the scheduled date for Leah and Jon's family session at Boothe Park in Stratford. I asked Leah if they were still up for it, considering the weather, and Leah said she thought it would be silly not to have it, considering the oddity.

During the session Leah mentioned how the day reminded her of "Little House on the Prairie", because of the green trees and snow juxtaposition. (The show was set in Minnesota but filmed in California.)

This session was a lot of fun! I especially like Nathan's quickly changing range of facial expressions while riding the skunk. (Four of those black-and-white pictures were taken in a 5-second span.)

Awesome day! God bless Leah, Jon, and Nathan!

Sara and Brenden

Sara and Brenden's wedding at the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station was tons of fun! Sara and Brenden decided to see each other before the ceremony, so we were able to take capture that special moment and take some group portraits at the nearby docks. Riverhouse said that they don't remember ever having a wedding with so many details. I especially liked the pumkin and gourd decorations.

I loved the autumn trees in the background for the ceremony. What a site! And there was plenty of emotion for the ceremony. (Parents and grandma dancing up the aisle for the recessional: can't beat that.)

After the lively introductions, Sara and Brenden danced the night away.

Congratulations, Sara and Brenden. God Bless!
