One wedding this past weekend took me all the way to East Falmouth, Mass. Despite rumors of hail the size of Chia Pets, the day was gorgeous. Marianna and Chad were easy-going and fun-loving, so it was a joy to capture some interesting happenings. Congratulations, Marianna and Chad! Best of luck!
Marianna received a love note just before the ceremony. Tip for prospective brides: keep plenty of tissues around the morning of the wedding.
I have a bad habit of snapping pictures of children at weddings before explaining to them why I have such a large lens.
I find it interesting how such a slight variation can indicate a totally different emotion.
Here is our lovely bride walking down the aisle.....
.... And the handsome groom eager to stand beside his love.
Ahhh, yes-- the late afternoon light. When it hits nicely, it's tough to beat.
Can a guest book be more fun than this?
Romance, romance......
Can you guess who will catch the bouquet?
This is the 3rd consecutive wedding that a very young lady caught the bouquet. What do they feed these kids?
Did I mention there were cute tikes at this wedding?
These were some grade A sparklers. Just enough light to snap a few shots of the celebratory send-off.

nice work with the sparkler shots, i'm guessing it was a difficult lighting situation. And kudos to breaking the tradition of shooting the bride throwing the bouquet - I've done the same thing, the action is totally in the "catch"!
My fav is the tossing of the bouquet- AWESOME shot- love it! Travis you always seem to surprise me with some of the angles you capture- great job!!
Travis--we're floored with the work you did. You truly have a gift for capturing the "moments in between." The moments you capture bring back the true feeling of the day, not the memory. I can remember how the sun felt, what the air smelled like and what it felt like when she walked out onto the aisle (hint: it felt a lot like happiness burning my tear ducts).
The shots of the kids (all of the shots, really), are stories. You can see what's going on behind people's eyes.
And I don't know what you did with the sparklers, but those are priceless photos of our friends and us driving away.
THANK YOU! We'll recommend you to anyone and everyone we know.
