Nicole and Nick Engagement
Nicole and Nick's engagement session was a lot of fun over at Silver Sands beach. I was a bit concerned about a thunderstorm rolling through, but it held off for the entire session. (Thunder knows not to mess with Nicole!) The session was a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to their wedding in October next year!

Elyse and Dan's Engagement Session
Elyse and Dan's engagement session in Granby was a lot of fun! Dan and Elyse decided they wanted pictures with the massive Granby Oak, a white oak tree that is featured on its town seal. The tree was significantly damaged by Hurricane Irene and the October snow storm last year, but it is impressive to behold. Dan's family's tree care business looks after the oak.
After that, we took a trip over to the local public farm. I'm a sucker for deep red barn backgrounds.
Elyse made some awesome muffins-- both blueberry and chocolate chip-- for the morning session. It is hard to match Elyse's baking skills, but photographer food is always welcome for engagement sessions. It may even result in better pictures. Studies won't confirm nor deny.
Elyse and Dan were a lot of fun to photograph. They volunteered to climb even higher on the oak tree, but I don't think we could have beaten the pictures from the lower branch.
I am looking forward to the wedding in April!

Senior Portrait: Bianca and Ryan
Travis Flynn Photography raffled off a Senior Portrait session at the Jonathan Law High School Prom. All proceeds from the raffled off items and services were used to help fund the post-Prom, which provides students an alcohol-free event for socializing and fun.
Bianca and Ryan were the winners of the raffle. We had a really fun portrait session at Boothe Park in Stratford. I asked if either has modeled before. Neither had, but they both seemed very comfortable in front of the camera.
Special thanks to Rita Oliveira for helping with lighting and creative ideas.

Senior Portrait: Casey
I had the honor of Taking Casey's senior portraits. Casey is a good family-friend. He's a very good lacrosse player, from what I've heard, and he seems to be a natural in front of the camera. What do you think?
One more senior portraits post coming up in about a week, plus a baby session, before heading back to more weddings. So stay tuned!
