People

This second batch includes some of the more interesting people pictures from Carolyn's and Mark's wedding. The reception was under a very large and elegant tent. It was great to be able to work with natural light through much of the day.

White Sands Beach House Wedding

The wedding yesterday in Ellington and Old Lyme was filled with opportunities for unique pictures. From opening a neighbor's gate for a photo session on a private beach (permission was granted) to the bride's request of capturing the groom frolicking in the field, this wedding had more than its share of interesting moments. There will be more from this wedding posted this week, but today's focusses on the newlyweds. Congratulations, Carolyn and Mark! All the best!

Ryan and Laura's Wedding

This wedding's ceremony took place at Calvary in Trumbull and then shifted over to Amarante's in New Haven. If the dance floor looks familiar, it's the same one as the previous week. It was interesting to see that the reception hall was set up differently than it was for Emily and Marvin's reception. Storm clouds rolled in just as we finished formals of the wedding party, which provided an interesting background for the six amigos portrait (nearly had lightning in the background!) When the bride and groom are this optimistic, active, and emotionally expressive, it makes my job easy! Congratulations, Ryan and Laura. May God bless you.

Wedding at Amarante's

It was a bit hot and humid, but the light couldn't have been much better for the ceremony Saturday evening at Amarante's in New Haven. This is another example of how great attitudes from the bride and groom can go a long way. Special thanks to Susan Falzone, who took a couple excellent first dance pictures (and many more). Congratulations Emily and Marvin!
