Brave Generation Conference

While photographing the Brave Generation Conference in Marlborough, MA this past weekend, I was struck by this: there is a subtle, yet definite, difference between reaching out one's hands to praise music and reaching out one's hands to honor God. The conference centered around "being used by God as a 'Vessel of Honor', which entails living a pure and holy life," as the website says. For a generation that is saturated with socially accepted lies, the idea of turning from temptation is often met with bewilderment. Our shortsighted generation is desperately in need of the light of God. The conference examined how repentance and accountability are crucial for those who want to spread this light.
