Jennifer and Joseph

The bride's name was Jen. The groom's name was Joe. Maid of Honor Jen. Best Man Joe. That constituted the bridal party. For once I could remember every person's name.

The venue was gorgeous: a cabin, garden, and overlook at Wickham Park in Manchester. From outdoor ceremony site, the city of Hartford was visible beyond the trees (see below).

Jen and Joe's love was evident throughout the day-- it was quite an emotional ceremony! Melissa Vandermause worked with me and captured many great pictures. (See below.) Congratulations, Jen and Joe! Best wishes!

Angela and Jake Part Two

Angela and Jake's reception was a lot of fun at The Riverview in Simsbury. The first ten pictures are largely lit by window light. I get excited when there are large windows letting in indirect sunlight. Again, it was a pleasure to work with Eric Langlois (Raw Photo Design). Best of luck, Angela and Jake!

Flashback Friday: The Cup

This flashback takes us back a couple years. The Anaheim Ducks won the Stanley Cup. Ryan, a member of the team, was able to spend a day with the Cup, as each of the players who win the Cup has the opportunity. A public event earlier in the day raised money for the Obie Harrington-Howes Foundation. I had the opportunity to photograph the celebration at his family's house. I was intrigued by the awe that children and grownups alike exhibited while studying the Cup. (The Cup has names of every player of Stanley Cup winning teams of past years engraved.) A few months later, Jess and Ryan were engaged. Their E-session was a lot of fun! I'm excited about their wedding coming up in July.
