Lauren and Damian decided to have their special moment of seeing each other before the ceremony. This allowed them plenty of time for pictures with each other (before the ceremony) and with family members and bridal party (after the ceremony). It is becoming more popular to have a "special moment" early on the day of the wedding. While not for everyone, it can work nicely when there is not a lot of time between the ceremony and reception, which is often the case.
Lauren and Damian decided on a low-key, more intimate style wedding. I loved their reception room, where the toasts were delivered-- something a little different than the norm!
