Lynnae and Dewey: Reception Details

Lynnae and Dewey's wedding had plenty of exquisite details. I am glad there were two of us, because Vishal did a great job of finding and capturing the reception details while I photographed some of the group portraits. The details and food were superb.

Lynnae and Dewey: Ceremony

The ceremony took place at St. Aloysius Parish is New Canaan. I think this is the widest indoor ceremony facility I've photographed-- very beautiful! Here are a few from the ceremony.

Lynnae and Dewey: Formals and Group Portraits

I suspect that it is atypical for a photojournalist photographer to post group portraits to his blog. But it is also atypical that a wedding offers this many picturesque scenes throughout the day! This features an image from Vishal Dhagat, who help out with this wedding. His photos in following posts will be marked by his name in the lower left. He took some really nice detail pictures, as you'll see. The last four pictures were taken before the reception at Marina Del Rey in Throgs Neck, NY.

Lynnae and Dewey: Getting Ready

Lynnae, her lovely mother, and four of the bridesmaids visited the salon in the morning. The sky opened up around 10 o'clock. Spirits were high. After the salon, Lynnae returned to her family's house to put on the finishing touches for her special day.
